OUR STORY OVER 130 YEARS IN THE MAKING
Waaia Football Netball Club was established in 1894 and has been a cornerstone of the Northern Victorian community ever since. What started as a local football club more than 130 years ago has grown into a thriving Football Netball Club — a place where generations of families have played, volunteered, and built lifelong friendships.
The club reformed in 1935 and has remained a proud competitor in the Picola Football League ever since. Over the decades, our players, administrators, and volunteers have earned countless individual and team honours — testament to the dedication and spirit that defines Waaia.
We are a club of firsts, of records, and of community. We have produced Picola Football League life members, Victorian Country Football League medallists, and Order of Australia recipients — all united by a shared love of Waaia.
